Wow, It's been a while since I drew Gen the tanuki from my new manga Native Voyage...

The last few pics of Gen was thin
I tried to make him a bit more chunky, Because he is a Tanuki.

Tanuki = (Chubby) Raccoon dog

but I don't want to over do it and make him look pregnant...

I still have a bit of trouble drawing foxes' heads from tanuki heads...

Of course a kitsune's snout is more thin and pointed at the end, but I draw the snouts more wide in the front view... So
